Dehydrated people work less effectively

People are thirst and de-hydrated all day long, especially on the first floor.

To get back max. productivity, we need to install a watercooler on the first floor.

Checking out Ideatorrent for Innovation Management

Generate traffic and ideas by shortening the path to submission

An idea community benefits from the sheer quantity of ideas available for discussion. The more ideas, the greater the chances of having a few potentially innovative, disruptive, valuable emerge from the overall noise.
To increase the pace at which ideas are submitted, an Idea Management app should be pervasive.

Solution #1: Instant submission via bookmarklet

I believe a bookmarklet submission feature would help in driving traffic and increasing idea submission. Inspiration can strike while surfing competing sites or news site reporting on technologies or trends to be watched.
Just like delicious, a bookmarklet could:
1. timestamp URL, datetime
2. collect tags
3. collect comments
4. parse the content of the page (server side), extract relevant keyboard, search for duplicates and propose a list of similar ideas (this could be skipped in favour of traffic, e.g. get the submission anyway, and evaluate it on the site)
The site would then:
5. provide a to-do list for idea validation and final submission, allowing to refine concepts and drafts

Hollow pipes are cheaper than fibre, and make maintenance simpler

The cost of laying fibre to homes is huge, so not many people are attempting full roll-outs, and those that do are achieving monopoly or near monopoly status as a result.

Rather than having one set of fibre to everyone's houses, there should be municipal pipes laid in the streets that could carry power, glass fiber etc., and utilities would lease space in the pipes to lay their cables. The lease would be as little as possible to cover maintenance, but great enough that it will encourage non-users to retrieve their cables. This should dramatically reduce the cost of the last mile and allow more entrants in to the market.
